Saguaro Nat' l Park - Wasson Peak. A day hike to the top of Wasson Peak. The slopes surrounding the gulch are dominated by stately saguaros, while barrel cacti, palo verdes, ocotillos, and chollas are also well represented in this classic Sonoran Desert plant community. Views of the Red Hills and Tucson Mountains expand until the trail reaches its terminus at a mountaintop junction.
